Zizo’s had a busy few weeks networking!
So in the past few weeks, we have attended several technology exhibitions both to learn more from other industry professionals, and to observe the many innovative technological business ideas that are being developed. The below summaries our experiences at some of these events, noting particular high points and stand out features of each.
MWC Partners have founded and brought together technology that creates the best EPoS solutions and the best retail store system.
This was an impressive event to attend. The full spectrum of attendees ensured that businesses large and small were represented, with appearances from both global players to niche boutiques. Analytics was the key message voiced, with a number of companies stating that the age old data problem still hadn’t been solved. It was also interesting to get stuck into this conversation, as it is something that Zizo has often touched upon. Our presentation gave us the opportunity to demonstrate how we are working together with MWC and Cegid to build next generation analytical solutions on Retail-J software.
Interop, is a global IT and technology event that prides itself as being Europe’s largest gathering of technology professionals. Emphasising the importance of sourcing solutions and products, thought leadership and project management to name a few, Interop utilises talks and workshops to discuss emerging technology.
Interop London was an ideal event for Zizo to attend, as data and analytics was high on everyone’s agenda. We found that there was plenty going on, especially with regards to informative talks, which was really useful to us as it enabled us to connect with some interesting contacts. Additionally, Interop allowed us to discuss new technology and innovation with likeminded industry experts; in particular we found the Harper Collins talk quite explanatory. While discussing its trials and tribulations in developing a Business Intelligence solution, it became clear that the old challenges still remain, despite advances in technology and understanding. What was especially appealing about Interop was the variety in attendee business size; it was great to attend an event, which recognised technology from smaller companies.
MKEX focuses on establishing Milton Keynes as a Technology Hub through inspiring discussion amongst local businesses. Having recently partnered with Biztech, a platform for the promotion of technology within Milton Keynes, MKEX aims to integrate key speakers with businesses through workshops and seminars.
With so much business talent thriving in Milton Keynes, it was a highlight of the past few months to attend a local event for Zizo, which showcased home-grown talent. The spread of technology companies under one roof substantiated the prospect of a dynamic future ahead of us. As part of the MK:Smart initiative, we were pleased to see the organisation attending in full force alongside UCMK, further bringing the educational nature of technology to the forefront. Moreover, as a local business ourselves, we found the array of technology innovations very exciting to hear about.
While the above details some of the events we have attended recently, we look forward to exhibiting and attending many more exhibitions throughout 2015. We believe that events such as these offer businesses of all sizes the unique experience of networking with like-minded technology professionals, while discussing current topics through insightful seminars and workshops.
